Tika is an Afghan Hound with a wonderful, gentle temperament.
She has completed the BH-VT, holds a lure coursing license, and regularly competes in the CACIL class. She is a beauty champion of Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is also a trainee therapy dog.

Tika as a Family Dog
Tika is first and foremost a loving family dog. Despite her elegance and achievements in shows and sport, she thrives on companionship and enjoys being an integral part of everyday family life.
She is especially wonderful with children, showing patience, sensitivity, and playful energy when appropriate. Tika’s calm indoor demeanor allows her to relax quietly with the family, while her affectionate personality ensures she is always ready for attention, cuddles, or a game.
Being part of the family also means Tika is well-socialized and adaptable. She balances her independent, sighthound instincts with loyalty and connection, proving that Afghan Hounds can be both extraordinary athletes and devoted, loving companions.
Dog shows
Tika has had an impressive show career, including participation in the World Dog Show in Zagreb, where she demonstrated her elegance, grace, and excellent conformation on an international stage.
She holds two adult championship titles—from Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina—as well as the Junior Championship of Slovenia.
Lure coursing
Lure coursing is a sport designed to showcase the natural hunting instincts, speed, and agility of sighthounds. Tika has a coursing licence since september 2025.
Grooming
Behind every silky, flowing coat is regular care, patience, and a lot of grooming.
Tika is groomed every 7-10 days, and brushed almost every day.
